Hurro,
I have a 04 zx-6r and went for a long-ish ride the other week (first time all the way to singleton on Putty RD). This road has a few bumps and it exposed the terrible suspension settings on the bike. The rear wanted to throw me off on .every. bump I hit at or over 80ks, front tank slapped with both hands on bars which killed confidence and nearly me

. And generally felt like it bashed me around for the whole ride, certainly kept jamming my lower body into my top half which gave me a few cramps. I just didnt even sit on the seat for a lot of the way and put my weight on the pegs instead. In an attempt to see if I could ease this Ive pretty much turned everything down on the back, and went with a softer-ish setting in the front. I'm a featherweight so preload is backed right off both ends already. I dont think this has worked, especially the rear. the front I think is not too bad as there is still a bit of adjustment to play with. For the record, I wasnt going that fast either, as the tank slap was pretty early in and I didnt feel comfortable going more then a moderate pace, plus the bumps were killing me with the cramps.
It has been to Eastern Creek and I thought it was fine there though, I think the track just just heaps smoother without the jagged bumps.
Can anyone recommend me something? Maybe a workshop that may be able to help? Can the springs just be changed to a lower rating? Im more concerned about the rear, the front might just need to be set properly?
Thanks
