Looking through Ebay, came across these cheapish braided lines

Questions are, has anyone fitted this brand before and can offer some feedback on quality, fitting etc?
Also i remember someone once telling me that fitting a double banjo on the MC of an 05 zx6 was difficult as the length of the double banjo made it hit the shock. I cant remember who that was, but has anyone had similar issue replacing a single line to one caliper that crosses over the wheel to the other, with a double line setup that goes from the MC to each caliper?

i got a hel braided line kit on my 06 zx6 and the double banjo was no problem at all....as for this brand of lines dont know anything about it but i remember reading somewhere on the forum that they had to have a yellow sleeve on them for aus standards or something???

Owen the 2 line setup from the MC will always be best as they are easier to bleed as for the double banjo that was the problem on my Tracky but only because I drop the levers down to more of a race position, this in turn pushes the banjo end onto the fork leg, for a street bike it should be fine...... Goodridge, or Hell would be my choice for road adr legal ones. Just made up a set for the SV with alloy fittings for the cost of materials but they do not have press fitted sleeves & do not comply with standards

well i think its time for a double line from the MC setup as ive bled a whole bottle worth of fluid and the lever is still going spongy after a couple of days

Oh & thats a good price off ebay the anodised stainless is pretty funky shit I might just keep that link

that's a good price !

I prefer the long single line to one caliper, with a short loop over to the other caliper. All things being equal, this set-up will give you better power in the brakes, as there is less hydraulic fluid for the m/c to push, so the same lever effort gives more effect at the caliper.

I was refering to the statement in the Ebay add.
It states "a top selling brand" in the add without mentioning who they are, and when they arrived they were Hel lines.
I think this may be something to do with Hel having fixed pricing or something as the same seller does sell HEL advertised lines, but they are more expensive.

Cool, Dave were they the same as in the pictures shown? Hel ones are usually assembled locally by the various distributors in each country.

I got my HEL lines for the 12 direct from the UK - they were way cheaper than buying from the Aussie distributor.....and here inside a week. Happy Happy Joy Joy

Had the same prob when trying to drop the lever, John Stamnas (Aust importer of Goodridge lines) makes a angled banjo to fix this.

I think that was the same mob I got mine through........quick service
