Hi guys

Having single-handedly cleaned out all of 3 of Kawi Oz's 3.10mm shim stock through Flywheels I am in need of 3 more 3.10mm shims.

Having tried logical first stops like Aitkens, SCM and BikeBiz (who strangley enough were helpful in this regard last time) my efforts so far have come to nothing, so I was wondering if anyone has or can point me in the right direction for finding the last 3 shims i need to get the job done?

It has always been a pain to get the shims i need, even with a weeks searching.

oh yeah BTW i have a bits for 05/06 ZX6R left over -
Namely:

New & unused APE manual Cam chain tensioner
A full set of 16 Genuine Kwak Valve stem seals bought thru flywheels
A used OEM screen in decent nick (road use marks only)

and possibly a unfitted Speedo Healer bought thru superbike supply. I am umming and ahhing about fitting it.

i used him for my zxr250 shims . great to deal with, quick postage and cheap!

yer he was very helpful as i found it hard to find the shims lol.
from memory it was not much more then $60 including postage for 10 shims

I forbid you from calling Kelens, at least until thursday!

(They're doing 4 valve shims tomorrow on my bike which are out of spec. they're replacing the rocker cover gasket as a "factory authorised repair" at the moment so got them to check them as well )

The local dealer in Salt Lake City, U.S. has 2, 3.10 and 1, 3.05 in stock. 3.05 should be close enough. If you do not find them let me know and I will pick them up and mail them to you.

thanks for all your help guys - i did call mornington up - but i also found the contact for precision shims through a workmate and they were of great help.

the prices are great - $5.50 a shim plus postage.

Definately adding that contact to the list.
