Hey yall!!
Just wondering how hot does your bike run in this type of winter weather? My R6 fluctuates from 90-100 degrees and the fan kicks in sitting in traffic. I feel mass heat on the side of the bike, i cant imagine riding in 40 degree summer heat!! Tim says his 6 also runs quite hot, is this normal?
Cheers
Kev

Both my 636's run between high 70"s & high 80's summer or winter ..... thats on the move, when stationary at a set or lights the temp rises & will keep doing so till the thermo fan kicks in, obviously in summer the time required is shorter. I have found that they run between the same range when being thrashed or commuting (not full on traffic but flowing )

sigh, Pianos shouldnt create so much heat!!!
Rob my biggest concern is the heat on the side of the bike, it gets quite annoying even in this winter weather. It feels like the fairing are going to melt

! Think ill have to find a way to reduce the heat somehow.

I used to have a Yamaha amp at home and it used to get quite hot as well. I fixed it by turning it off. Maybe that will work.
Sorry Kev, but you buy a Yamaha you're gonna get crap...and Adel's not on here to put shit on any more
Seriously though mate I don't think the Piano is any different from anything else, they all get pretty hot

my mates R1 even in Hobart in the city in stop start runs at about 80-90c. My ZX10r in QLD ran at roughly 95-100c in traffic and stop start.
