Pulsating Brake Lever

Hi ,

The brake lever on my wife's bike has started to pulsate slightly when the brake is applied and I know this is normally caused by the disc warping but are there any other reasons for this to happen?

Thanks

Its the Disk for sure :? get the wheel off the ground spin it & check the runout using a gauge or supported steel rule ;)

Rode the bike into see Jason Kain this afternoon, no signs of a warped disc, so he suggested I remove the pads and take any glazing off with emery paper. It appears to have done the trick.

Sanding the pads is good, also sanding the disks will help using 400 grit wet or dry sand paper.
Jim Beam also helps.
