Anyone recommend a decent mechanic that deals with cvk carbs and doesnt charge like a wounded bull. I eventually ended up ording a jet kit and K&n high flow filter replacement. I'm not game messing around with the carbs myself (probably drill holes though them). Last time I had something done I took the beast to sydneycitymotorcycles but I wasn't too impressed.

I've got the nifta 2fifta for at least another 12 months so i might aswell make the most of it. Before anyone starts banging on about why bother :) and I got a pretty good deal on the kit and filter $170.00AUD shipped from the US.

cheers

+1 for Lloyd, Punch St (opposite end to the bunnings), Artarmon, and only a short work to St Leonards station means you can drop it off in the morning then head to work and pick it up in the arvo.
