I can get a carbon yoshi slip on for my Ninja 250R for $400.

It's 12 months old, no scratches or anything but.

You reckon this is a decent deal?

BGW sells them for $650 I think.

Lol! I wish, that'd be sweet.

But seriously, you reckon it's ok?

I know it will still probably sound like shit, and I don't expect any noticeable power gains from it. But it sure as shit will look a whole lot better.

There's also a carbon area p full exhaust going for like $650, but it doesn't look anywhere near as good as the yoshi.

I wasn't going to bother getting anything, but I thought $400 isn't much and if I get a fender eliminator too it will make the bike look heaps better.

Yeh, I guess it will.

Dave said the same thing when I was talking to him about it at EC last Friday.

It has no sound as it is stock, which is ok. But it really looks crap at the moment.

The neat little carbon job will look sweet.

Though I suppose for $400 I could get a tinted screen, a fender eliminator and a rear hugger!

Damn, now I got to consider this.

think about this mate...

Do you want a "silent ninja" 250 or a ninja 250 that sound like a 125 chooky?

this is why i still have the stock pipe  :kuda:

I think I better hear one with an after market can on before I buy this.

I'm not wanting it so much for a louder pipe than for a better look. The stock can is ugly, no doubt. The yoshi looks sweet. But if it sounds that bad, I might have to pass.

Problem is I don't know anyone with a pipe on a 250R.

Yeh but a bigger bike is like 12+ months away for me at least. And $400 spent now won't affect anything when it comes time to buy my zx10r or r1 in a years time :D

So at least my bike will look better for the next year or so.

But if it sounds as bad as you say, I don't want it either. I need to hear one now to make up my mind.

There's a bloke that gets around Kellyville on one with a Yoshi on it and it sounds pharking ridiculous. Stupidly loud, horrible note (being a twin) and it's slow anyway. Seriously, a can on a 250 is a joke. Save yourself the money and spend it on training.
