Anybody got a hugger?

Postby mattyv74 » Mon May 31, 2004 11:18 pm

Hi Guys, the new undertail and exhaust are coming up a treat. Will post pics once I get access to a digicam.
My next task is to pattern up a hugger. I don't want to purchase one, but get access to one to flop/mold off.
If some one has one for 7 thats sweat, but all I need is the profile or form that curves up over tyre.
I know it's a long shot but I can make stuff for others and like the idea of bartering... hello.gif

Jase, It'll be mutually beneficial for all club members. Basically only cost of materials, to you guys. Maybe, a bit further down the track we could set up a bit of a slush fund. or should that be slosh fund.... :partyman: :drinkers: pottytrain2.gif XXsmoker.gif hello2.gif qpepsi.gif new_Eyecrazy.gif

Slosh fund is good.. Cause Neka and Jase are too far away to drink with us... Plus Jase is under the thumb and can't drink much... Apparently he thinks he's a member of man power after a couple of drinks...

Mina
It sits over the rear tyre and takes the place of the chain cover as well.
made of plastic, fibreglass or carbonfibre
It also helps stop some of the road grime from getting on to your rear shock and spring.

i have a carbon fibre hugger to suit a 98 C1 ZX9R... yes, it IS carbon fibre, not plastic... and it is FOR SALE...
in good nick overall, however at the end of the hugger, its a bit chipped where my back tyre picked up some rather large pebbles and carried em over where they hit the hugger and nicked it a bit...
i'll post a photo.. or maybe i'll forget to do that - can somebody remind me to do so if i turn senile please?
its a little dirty but nothing a good wash wont fix...
i bought it in august last year? cant remember when but after my stack in january, i took it off and its been in the garage ever since... wont fit on my 02 ZX9R so i may as well offload it...
any takers?
