Draining and cleaning my tank..... Tips?

Postby tim » Tue Sep 15, 2009 2:56 pm

Hi,

I'm going to drain the tank tomorrow morning because of lots of water in the fuel.

Just had a quick look and noticed the air filter is under the tank and looks dirty so I may as well pull the tank off, not that i know how to clean it :D

If i wasn't could i just pull the reserve pipe off the on-res-prime switch and drain it through there?

When taking the tank off things to be careful of and order to do things?

How and what to rinse the tank with?

That's it, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Tim.
