Why Wouldn’t You?

How many times have you gone to jump onto your pride and joy to go for a quick blast only to find out that you have a flat tyre? Or worse still be out on a 400 km loop of your favourite roads and get some road debris stuck in your tyre, which causes it to promptly go flat as a tack? We have all been there to.

Unfortunately you cannot carry a spare tyre on your back when you go for a ride so it makes sense to cover yourself and give yourself peace of mind when you go out for a well planned road trip.

Our Tyre & Wheel policy not only covers your bike for any tyre repair or replacement that you need in the 3 years that you are covered for, but also in the event that you damage your rim by running over something on the road or by hitting a kerb, this policy will allow you to get the rim either repaired or replaced. What more could you ask for?

This policy offers an Australia wide cover so when you are on your big road trip to the Island or further afar you can have peace of mind that this policy has you and your bikes back.

Some things to think about:

You should never plug a front tyre puncture. This policy will get you a replacement front tyre.

In some cases you cannot repair a rear tyre if the hole is too close to the sidewall resulting in you having to replace the tyre. This policy will get you a replacement rear tyre.

Some rims are not damaged enough to warrant replacing, but the average cost of repairing a rim properly is approximately $500 per rim. This policy will cover the costs of repair or replacement of the rim up to the value of $2,500.

Why Wouldn’t You Want This Peace Of Mind.

• Up to $2,500 cover
• Unlimited claims
• 3 years coverage
• Covers tyre puncture repair or replacement tyre
• Covers rim repair or replacement rim
• Accommodation costs
• Towing costs
• Taxi costs
• Australia wide cover

You can have all this peace of mind for the equivalent of $3.80 per week

Terms and conditions apply so call one of our Business Managers on these numbers provided for more details. This is an insurance policy provided by Australian Dealer Insurance. You can speak with one of our Business Managers in relation to obtaining a Product Disclosure Statement for you to consider before making your purchase.

What do you reckon?

$200 a year for flat tyre insurance? Not to put the mockers on myself but I don't go much on their sales technique:

"How many times have you gone to jump onto your pride and joy to go for a quick blast only to find out that you have a flat tyre?" - None.

"Or worse still be out on a 400 km loop of your favourite roads and get some road debris stuck in your tyre, which causes it to promptly go flat as a tack?" - None.

Considering my comprehensive insurance only costs a little more than they're asking for flat tyre insurance (yes I know it covers wheels too) I don't see the value.

Why would you more like it.

The only value would be for those who have NFI about how to fix a puncture or if you are likely to bust a rim. Ha how likely is that and if you do bust one I dont think you or the bike will be in much condition to ride anyway
I can see the claim coming in for those $3k+ aftermarket rims getting the approval too. Sceptical, I know..
