Just bought some new rear shocks - http://www.dratv.com/ctchreapstoe.html
Longer and stiffer that the standards.
They be going on in a month or so (when they get here and I have the bike apart for something else  ), so I'll post pics then.
I wasn't going to be spending money on it this month  but it seemed silly to wait ;)

Nice zorst for $140.00 on Fleabay, made for a 110cc Pit Bike.

I have my old bars off my Z750 if they would be of use to you, you can have 'em if you want.

You're definitely one for finding zorsts aren't you gumby? ;)
Never really been a fan of the twin setup, but that one does look nice - looking at it though I'm not sure how it would fit the postie. Not enough clearance for anything to go underneath and up the other side.
EDIT: yeah, looking at http://cgi.ebay.com.au/New-Racing-Dual- ... 3|294%3A50, the pic showing where it routes tells me it won't work. I've added 'pit bike' to my regular ebay searches now though ;)

Might be interested in the bars - can you give me more details and maybe a pic (I don't think I've seen std z750 bars).
Are they 7/8s? how long are they from bar end to bar end?

Yeah I like exhausts...............................

Same seller has a single the same.
In regards to the twins where there is a will there is a way.....
I was thinking down along the swing arm would look pretty tough.
Can you make a postie tough??????

Get a pic of the bars soon, I have the clamp as well.
Sort of bronze colour.

hmmm - the single does look good - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/32mm-BIG ... ccessories
But I've spent too much already this month  - it's on the list to keep an eye on now though (and to check if it'll fit), when I can also afford the time and money for a jet kit to make it sing.
Good find - thank you ;)

Mate, the bars look the goods - they're the right diam, about 50mm wider than the current ones - worth giving a go.
PM me and we'll sort something out 8) :kuda:

You can also get carbon fibre ones.

Quite cheap in the scheme of things, compared to a Yoshi.................
Understand what you are saying about the monthly spend, I have the same thing.

Here is something else for cheap laughs. I had one on a petrol scoot.

Managed to spend a bit of time on the postie again today.
Took a long weekend, got lots of work done, and bub's asleep - so I got to play a bit ;)

Bit of a clean, temp repairs to the seat, and some work on the front fender - but main thing was playing with the bars a little.

I haven't sourced new bars yet, but I thought I'd try just moving the bars forward and see how that worked.
Apart from dealing with some stubborn screws it was (of course) fairly straight forward to move the bars and readjust the switch blocks and mirrors...

I'll see how they go during the week and maybe play some more next weekend.
