Power commander issues - can u repair?

Yesterday afternoon on the trip back to work after uni I noticed that for some reason I was getting a buzzing vibration sounding like it was coming from the top-end of my bike in between 6-7k RPM in every gear. The problem was still there when i revved the bike in neutral so I ruled out transmission and drive. After poking around in the top end i couldnt find anything loose. It wasn't a sparkie because it was still producing the same power (no noticable change) as well as not shaking my ass off in low revs.
After test riding the bike after rebuild i noticed that if I rolled off in the buzzing range the exhaust would octane burn-off like crazy so i ruled it down to a fueling issue - so i took my pillion seat off and started the bike and looked at my PcIII - no lights and fancy fuel bar light scroll.. I pulled it out and it was covered in grey - obviously a sign something in it had gone up in smoke.

The bike still runs but i'm not riding it for obvious reasons till i get the time to revert to stock fuel control, but at the same time i was wondering if there is a service that exists that repairs PC's or can i send it back to Dynojet? I bought the bike with it in place and i dont think i have the receipts of its purchase. Only recent work done on the bike was shims and change of sparkies a bit over 10 days ago.
has anyone had an issue with a PC that they got RMA'ed or fixed? (Maybe a capacitor has blown). People tell me its a bit odd my bike still runs if the PC3 has shat itself...
