Thanks for the link Dave. MASSIVE thread. I think from that thread I got about 2 peeps that had did them by hand and woodcraft do them .

I think I may need to PM those that made them here.

If your serious about the engine covers, get the heavy duty ones. The carbon covers, as you can see in that thread, aren't as good, but they are cheaper and will pass MA requirements. They will help but the impact may bust the cover under them.

Or get a Historic 4-stroke. Then you don't need them at all !!
