I am concerned though that they stipulate that they need constant monitoring if used in race bikes. Is this due to pressure tolerance of the aluminium or heat load?

Posted: Tue Jan 27, 2009 11:40 amBought some for the ZXR , but never got round to fitting them. Very light, and confirmed to me by an o/s racer that they really work well. I've been hanging out for them to make them to suit the 06-07 10, apparently they're having trouble finding the right thickness ally plate - will definitely buy a set as soon as they're available.
The only reservation I'd have is in street use ; I suspect that they'd tend to warp relatively easily.
