we pulled fireyrob's 07 model coils out, no worries. had the side engine mounts off but didnt drop the motor or the radiator.

Yep, the '07 model you don't require to take the engine mounts off at all, you can get the coils and sparkplugs out without removing them. I did it a few months ago on my '06. FYI, the radiator drop on the '04 was actually to get access to the cam cover as the heat barrier locks into the radiator mounts.
If you are just doing spark plugs, you shouldn't have to do it. When you do the shims, that's another story. Did the shims on the '04, but couldn't be arsed on the '06, despite not technically being due anyway.
