I put in a find-a-part request for a lower triple clamp for the 9 a week or so ago with great success, but I just needed to share on of the responses with you all.

It's from Victoria, so it may not be the one you're thinking of (although it may be).

I *cannot* believe that a wrecker would actually be trying to sell that piece of shit !!!

You should bust his name out Dave, so we can bombard him with phone calls about selling dodgy parts that could cause serious injury or death, if they were actually used !! That bottom clamp would be so fucked with the fire damage, lost all structural integrity, and the wrecker should hang his fuckin' head in shame !!!

Phark that is disgraceful ! downright dangerous...should NEVER be used again ...they should be shot!

A perfect excuse to start the bling collection on the bike, a quick polish or chroming and it's all good

He might be a good kisser and the tripple clamp in question is only say $2 of the total...

If it's not an aluminium clamp then it could be OK, but I'd err on the side of caution.
