Do I need my carbs re-balanced?

Postby mick_dundee » Fri Apr 18, 2008 4:31 pm

I've just put a K&N air filter in the bike, carbs were balanced like a month ago, maybe two at the outside, power delivery is now as smooth as a babys bum so reluctant to change anything just thought i'd ask the gurus here if I should or not.

Carb balance isn't affected by air filter- jetting is though. :)

Wow!
Mick is riding again!
Bloody hell I was expecting a post from Mick in 2014 --------"FS 99 ZX9 - classic, garaged for past 6 years"
No carb synch is required Mick - but should still be performed during any service. Jetting? don't bother opening that can of worms! If it works then just shut up and enjoy it.........Finally!
I got a sweater for my birthday. I realy wanted a moaner or a screamer.
