Hey guys

Looking for some settings as a rough starting point, I'm only 70kg (maybe 75-80kg when geared up) and most of my riding is solo with little or no luggage.

Cheers

Leigh

Being as small as you are the stock settings should be fairly well spot on, as the previous poster said, these should be in your manual. The factory settings are generally set up for a rider of around 75kg.

Set your rider sag around 35mm. Then fiddle with the compression and rebound adjusters till your happy. As a general guide, if the clocks hit you in the gob when you let the brakes off add rebound and if they pack down over a series of sequential bumps back it orf a touch. Same applies to your arse! Also the way you ride will change what you need. If you cruise, then you might want it with more sag and less damping control to make it plush and soft, or if you are more spirited, you might want to firm it up. Change it to suit your own comfort. Remember to write down the starting point before you touch anything, just in case you hate the end result! This is just a general road guide and as such is not the be all and end all of ZX12R set ups. What one rider likes, another might hate, so it's best to start with sag and go from there to suit YOU! ;) HTH
