Repairing Tyre Warmers

Postby dave#3 » Fri Dec 21, 2007 9:35 pm

I bought a set of cheap(ish) tyre warmers recently that need repairing (from some dodgy bloke on some forum :D ). Some of the elements have burned through the internal liner and would rest against the tyre. So, firstly, any ideas on how to repair them (what to cover the elements with) and secondly, how important is it to repair them?
