well since every week we seem to have a tyre choice thread, hows about we all put our vote down and we make a sticky out of it??

makes sense doent it??

so what im asking is ur favourite tyre that u have used at present... i dont wanna kno what was good 30 years ago... i wanna kno wot gets the nod in 2007...

if i miss a brand, let me kno and ill add it....

As usual, Neka u have not thought it thru - u need to be more specific: ie u ride a Z1000 I ride an ER-6. What works for your bike may not work for mine!

I think he is just aiming at a simple " what works best for you " tyre comparison - so what you ride and how you ride it don't really matter, its just to get an idea of what tyres are used by members in general ??

I am really happy with the M3's on the barge, but have yet to try them on the track. Might have a different opinion after that ? Perhaps, perhaps not. For the street, so far, they have been really good.

as Gos said..im just being general to see what ppl like...

considering we get at least 1 post abt this per week, if ppl want to have a look here 1st to get an idea, and then ask more specific questions...

im a brigey fan so far, but gunna try metzy's next..might change my mind after that...


dont forget..id prefer not to have the "other"..so post ur preference and ill add it...

I like Metzelers. Got the M3's on the 10 at he moment but given I don't do a lot of k's and I plan to be doing most of them at the track in future I'm thinking of going Racetech's next

Neka, as you know I've got powers on atm which I like, but the guy at the local shop tells me to try the metzelers next, reckons I'll love them

Pilot power 2CT great for the track but dont get alot of km's out of them!

I am currently trialing my first set of Conti Sport Attcks on the 14 - heat up real quick and IMO better than Pilot Powers, grip confidence is awesome

i voted other, as i really haven't a fricking clue, this is my first bike with "big bike" hoops and im still on them, 12kkm later and they only look half worn.

might spring for conti attacks next time...

I just put a set of Dunlop GRP10 Alpha's on.
put about 100kays on them this arvo. Nice a quick to warm up and great traction so far.

Lets see how long this set last LOL
