Fuel Pump Issues

Evening all,Had a problem today with the ZXR750. :(
Was riding home when it died and wouldn't fire again.Turned out it was the fuel pump.A bit of side of road repairs got me going again, but the pump's shagged.
What I want to know is,is there an after market pump avalible from like sprints or repco that will do the job,or is it better to stick to genuine.
Does any one know what pressure and volume these pumps need to put out? Bearing in mind that its a 1991 model bike.

Cheers,Frosty.

Got the problem sorted out.Got an electric pump from sprint auto parts that bolted up to the same holes.
It is suposed to pump at 2-3psi but that was to much pressure,so I had to join in some "T" pieces and run a return line to the tank via the reserve line.
At the moment it seems to work well, but will still have to be done properly.

Did try a few places today, can get new for $310,and no second hand stuff yet.But since then another problem has come up.
It's now flooding(have even put the old pump back on to check it's not too much pressure)on standing and you can feel it at low revs.
Most likely got some crap in the carbs. So I gues Ill take them off and clean them next(me and carbies, this should be fun!!).

Till the next instalment...
