Looking at this page they say they cannot insure..... and one of the criteria is "any riders have lost their licence in the last 5 years, or", do i assume they are referring to people whos license has been suspended for whatever time period? i think so, but there could be a bit of difference on the interpretation and nothing was mentioned in their PDS (hey im sure im not able to use them cause of my 3 month susp, but asking cant make it any worse).

Come across this many years ago & the fact is they class suspension as a loss.... any period of time :(

any questions to an insurance company should be email only and quote the specific clause and your situation

you then recieve a written reply and have a record of it

i havent bothered following up on it, but im sticking with being thankful my car is a carolla and my bike is worth 5k if im LUCKY.

Oh well shit happens, i'll just stick with NRMA unless they jack the rates up insanely (which i hope that they dont and that i never need to USE that insurance)

when i had trouble, i went 3rd party property only..just to cover myself...

actually mate..AAMI covered my car with my "colourful" history....now its with SGIC cos they wouldnt cover my mrs based on her age...but they also cover me WHEN LICENSED.... so try either of them for ur car....

as for bike..im with famous classic car, and they wont take new contracts, but will honour old ones.... but they cover me with a $2k excess.... so if ur bikes worth $5k..prob not worth the cover?
