urgent: Side stand switch

Posted: Sat Jun 09, 2007 11:09 pmjust check the switch with a multimeter - it will either be a closed or open circuit with the stand down...........as Macca says, its then just a matter of either joining the 2 wires together or splitting them....
My money is on a 'closed' circuit when you lift the sidestand, so you probably only need to join the wires together to by-pass the sidestand switch, and bobs your uncle......

instead it has a suicide stand that flings up when you take the weight off it
