Tyre Pressure - whats yours?

I've heard that the golden rule is 34 PSI on the front 38 on the rear for solo riding, and perhaps up 1 or 2 on each tyre if you have a pillion.
Then again, I've heard that to avoid premature wear (but perhaps bounce off the road!!) use 36/40.
Any wise words of wisdom?

Anywhere from 26 to 41 depending on riding conditions, the tyre and what Ponti's tyre man tells me about construction!

i also believe it depends on what type of tyre it is. every tyre is different and has an optimal pressure for the road and track.
I have super corsas and run 34 front and 38 rear

tyres brand/type, rider weight, temperature, road conditions...all play a part..find sumthin that works for u and stick with it...
sum ppl change it daily, i think thats a bit of a wank...
the harder the tyre, the more open it is, there fore the smaller the contact patch with the road...
i ussaully run bridgestone bt014's or powers, and im abt 80kg... i run 32F, 36R for hills scratching...
i run 28both for the track.. and if im doing a long highway type run i run 38F 42R so as to not chew out the middle...
hope that helps

Thanks for the input guys. I got a new Pilot Road on the rear which I'm loving. It's set at 38psi, but I might try 36 next week.

34/40 road. 30/30 track.
These pressures helped me get 14,000km out of a Pilot Power rear, so must be doing something right.

thats what i use for the road.
im using pilot powers.
at the the track i use 30/30. I find the rear feels "greasy" if i have any more in it than that.

34/36 but depends on the tire bridgestones like it harder and others like it softer.
Probably harder for touring tires and softer for sports tire.
