Inverse forks

Why is it that the ZX 2c & ZX 7's had inverted forks whilst the bigger 900 zx9's dont?

Can you get inverted forks for the front to make it lighter and more agile?

i'm not too sure but i think because the 250 and 750 are more of a sports replica than the 900, but i could be wrong.

It could be more than looks.............

USD forks.
They are suppose to work better so all the race bikes have them.
The new zx6r and the zx10r have them.
I think the zx7/zxr750 must have been one of the first to have them fitted stock.

From wot I've been told - inverted forks have lower 'un-sprung' weight...

My '95 & '96 ZX9s had em, but my 2001 doesn't ... :?

Spose it shows by then kawasaki was aiming ZX9Rs at the touring end of the sports market.
