Does anyone know of a steering damper for the Z1000's that doesnt mount on top of the triples or along the side like the ohlins?

I am hoping to find one that will go uner the top triple clamp or under the bottom one.

not really... everyone has told me for years that u need a steering dampner on bikes..ive never had one, and rarely had the need for one...if a bike is set up well it wont be required, then again i dont ride like a madman... no tank slapping hoe's yet...

even on the blade i never needed one...id only consider it if it was a great price and i thought it was worth it..i see it as one of those "wank" factors..like TRE modules, and air in tyres...

its $600 i can spend on a trip to Vic to piss up with the crew...

Right you are mate, I dont believe that the bike really needs one, I have my suspension pretty well sorted now, so it is really not too much of an issue, the front gets very light at QR coming out of turns, so that is my main reason, it gets a little wobbly sometimes, I guess I am just a scardy cat :lol:

Mine is going to cost somewhere around the $200 mark, so much more justifyable :wink:
