dont know how much has changed since but the fan on my '03 kicks in at 100 and doesn't stop till it goes back below ~95.

only got one, so no help here. In my manual it say fan will switch on between 92-104 and will switch back off after the temp has fallen by 3-8 degrees.

If you got a manual it should say in there.

The temp will rise once you stop as there is no cooling air going through the rad. Its not unusual to see the temp jump ONCE you stop.
Chances are it was actually BELOW the kick in point when it was going.
DEFINITELY keep an eye on it but.

ok ozten, just got an 05-06 636 manual and it says the thermo (apparently there's only 1) should kick in at 95 and stop once it goes back below 90degC, mind you this is an american manual but shouldn't be hugely different, but someone might be able to clear that up.

i just found out that it has been running but doenst run with your ignition on which i thought it did, which is stupid cause the temp rises the most wen you turn it off cause of heat soak. My bad too it does only have one fan.
