Hi all,

Anyone had any experience with the above tyres? Generic comments re. grip, performance in the wet and longetivity welcome 8).

The Hornet came with these as standard equipment, the other choice was apparently Bridgestone BT56s.

I have loads of experience with these tyres. I also bought a Hornet new fitted with these.

Grip- Doubt unless you ride like Doohan that you will ever get them to walk around on a normal tar surface. they grip sensationally. These used to be the Pucka race tyre back in the early 90's!!! they've been around a while!

Wet- Awesome again!!

Longevity-  It's only achilles heal. I got 2000klms from my TX15/25 Hi-sports!!!!

2000km, I've never had less than 12-15000km out of a set of tyres!

Bugger, should have swapped them before picking the bike up .

Well, apart from the 2000km life-span, they sound ok. What did you end up running after they were shagged?

thanks

Mick

Rennsports/Racetechs. But would Highly Recommend trying M3's if you want some life! I now run an M3 rear/Racetech front Combo. Yeah yeah yeah, I know, so crucify me for mismatching tyres. But it works!
