I'm gonna bail out of this one. If I don't, you'll probably only see one of us on Sunday. Hahahaha
ps. Be warned guys, Bluefly punches better than she can talks. But hopefully you'll all divert some of her attention away from me. You've been warned.

This sounds a bit like a suspension set up problem more than anything else.
Mat, do you find that you are running wide on exits when you go hard early in the turn exits? Does the front end feel light at this stage?
If so, it could be a result of the soft rear suspension, in which case you would need to harden the rebound, but best to tinker with the suspension settings.

A Kwaka mechanic told me that the best way to set up suspensions was to try the set up whilst the bike is still (), or set the settings to both the hardest & softest & find out where the middle is. From there, hit the road/track and adjust accordingly. May take some time, but it should certainly get results for a steadier bike.

Also, if your are starting to perform on the track, it may just be you need racey suspensions (ie, harder).

Guys, back to the origional point of the thread.
I think the gremlin is dead. After doing the gor and having a play with it at home it seems pretty good.
Went up to a 7wt oil, dropped the front by 8mm.
I've run it with both the 70'series pilot, and the 75'series dunny slick. Although they do behave differently, neither of them give me them scarey shakes.
Well done Yoda, Madkaw, and Dr Dan. wave.gif
But, I feel that after having dialed the front in a bit better, the back does 'Squat' exiting turns. The rear ride hieght is still stock, and to my knowledge, the rear shock has never been adjusted. Still got the origional (7year old) oil in it.
Considering I'm only 58-62kg, what suggestions do you have?
Like I said, it's heaps better, but I'm noticing the squat. Don't think I'm imagining it.

Good to see you have solved the problem matty, i think the previous conversation wasn't too bad. These topics have a way of changing all by themselves.

So what color socks is everybody wearing today?

(Please dont post what color undies you have on as it is being discussed in another post).
