Black and White socks today, the Pies won last night if you hadn't heard.
It is far better to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even if chequered with failure, than to take rank with those who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, as they live in grey twilight that knows no victory nor defeat.

Not a big footy fan. Just like the grand final for the bbq and piss.

Matty, you could have avoided that question and kept going with you original topic, but the topic got its way again and diverted your attention from the original convo.

You just cant win the topic always gets what it wants.

I think the gremlin is dead. After doing the gor and having a play with it at home it seems pretty good.
Went up to a 7wt oil, dropped the front by 8mm.
I've run it with both the 70'series pilot, and the 75'series dunny slick. Although they do behave differently, neither of them give me them scarey shakes.
Well done Yoda, Madkaw, and Dr Dan. wave.gif
But, I feel that after having dialed the front in a bit better, the back does 'Squat' exiting turns. The rear ride hieght is still stock, and to my knowledge, the rear shock has never been adjusted. Still got the origional (7year old) oil in it.
Considering I'm only 58-62kg, what suggestions do you have?
Like I said, it's heaps better, but I'm noticing the squat. Don't think I'm imagining it.

rear squat????
me thinks a tad more compression on the rear would be the go..
just a tad...but you should check the 'sag' first....and if more than about 30mm..dial that out first
give it a go....
cheers

You'll probly find the shock is getting on a bit and won't have much compression left. Usually after about 15 to 20 thousand Ks the shocks are on there way out and need to run the compression at the highest setting. I think it is the 4 position clicker on the bottom of the shock and you should have it at 3 or 4. As Smitty said you should also check the preload and make sure the bike drops about 30mm from fully extended to when you are sitting on it, in ride position.
