To do rear suspension adjustments...

Where can I buy this in Melbourne and how much?

a few years ago, I got mine from TW Performance in melbourne

about $30-40 for a decent one (cheapies around $20)

note some people call them ..shock (or shocker) wrenches

Try somewhere like AllTools or Blackwoods ph87568222 they have a ajustable one 32-76mm that I think should do the job part # 07427204

TW sells good gear at cheap prices. I would highly recommend them if they have one in stock! They sell Draper tools, which are a good quality item. I have half a dozen or so of TW's bits. They have all performed well, and the service was excellent.

Blackwoods never stocked then when I went looking
and the Alltools one was $69
and that was a few years ago

Wass wrong wiv a big screwdriver and a hammer ??? it fits all sizes

Thanks all... bit of research and the $40 is a bit expensive for my situation as I may only use it once. Guess I have to live with a plush suspension...

Budget/"Rough" approach.....big flathead screw driver and rubber mallet.

The suggestions about a big flat-blade screwdriver and a hammer are on the money mate - as long as you are careful, then you can easily bump up the preload on the rear shock, you may only have to move the collars 1 or 2 full turns to get an appreciable difference..

Its definitely worth a go, and will save you $40.

remember, it can be used for headstem adjustment too...

you will use it again in the future on other bikes

life is too short to ride round on soggy suspension , it also affects tyre wear

hope the supercheap one sorted you out

Bought a sissor type from MCAS for aprox $20 worked ok, after some benchgrinder mods . The bloody thing kept sliding of and as usual your knuckles hit something HARD

i used a hammer and a flat screw driver once.

But then thought i'd do it the right way and buy a c spanner
