I'm not 100% sure, but I think the GPX exhaust/footpeg bracket bolts to the rear subframe, underneath the rear plastics. (which are a little tricky to get off- did that recently for a mate.) Might just be a matter of removing, straightening and bolting up again. Hope so. :) Maybe you have lost a bolt out of it? Actually it might be behind the sidecover which is a piece of piss to remove?

no its not lost the bolts, but i THOUGHT the last time i checked it that it was broken from the n00b learner before me *goes out to check* yes the 2 bolts to just under the seat that connect to the frame are still there but the metal bracket that attaches to the fram has snapped... looks like from rust.

Maybe the bracket could be bought from the wreckers cheap? (It's separate to the frame isn't it?) Or cable ties and or fencing wire or hoseclamps could be used to bodgy it!

My old man is at Douglas Park. I can find out when he is free and he can weld it for you. It won't cost you any $ but it might take some time as he likes to talk a bit. (well ok a lot....but he can weld)

Coincidentally I changed the oil on a clients GPX tonight- I see what you mean. If you get the plastics off it should cost you jack shit to get tacked back together! :D

fairing welding is a totally different animal to plastic welding!
