Front speedo assembly q's

Is this assembly meant to move slightly or be solid?

Mine moves back and forward between 15-20mm,
haven't noticed it before and not to sure!

mine doesnt move at all or else not noticably.

i notice shit like that as well....

edit - just realised you probably arent talking about the actual speedo are you...

i was talking about the speedo..... im off back to my beer....
