hidepenny, make sure it's on PROPERLY, only a small gap along the edge of the cowl. If not on properly they like to fly off, mine hasn't but I know of ones that have.

yeah thx for the advice

it took me 20mins to assemble it, but 10 mins to fit it on, as it doesn't go on as smoothly as the pillion seat :(

It took me that long to put mine on too.. didn't fit as easily as I expected it would.

Had to put washers on, take washers off, put washers back on until I was happy that it fit snugly.

hm...i didn't have to do that, but i just needed kinda forcing it in, after few uses i'm sure it'll get better, but it was definitely lighter than then pillion seat and much better looking, even tho it wasn't cheap, but as least i'm happy :D

may be my next mod will be flush signals or the screen :D

Do you mean when putting it on it doesn't click straight in like the seat does, so you have to "force" it in? If so, me too. That's why I put the washers on then off then back on again.. I thought it wasn't fitting properly.

It seems only the left hand side where there's a hole for helmet tight having problem of fitting in perfectly rite??

if that's the case leave the washer there on the side and just push a little bit harder at the end where the lock is, and it'll click in nicely :D

i think because it's new so it's tight, otherwise i think it fits quite well

wait till you try to put it on with a helmet hooked on.
On mine it took me ages and my mates were laughing at me - which didnt help :).

im glad its not just me who has difficulties putting on the seat cowl :)
