Ponti, Mike will want a tad more life from his tyres than some. So the Shinko's, 002's and Pilot race tyres are not going to give him the mileage he wants.

Mike, I reckon MickC is right, especially if you liked the M1's you had previously. the M3 is just more of the same with better grip. :) The other tyres out are all good, But the k's I have had from M3's are far more than I have been able to coax from other tyres. Unless of course i'm just getting slower as I get older...which is highly possible too

Apparently suspension doesnt work when your cranked (how can it its pushing sideways not up and down) so your tyres and frame (controlled flex) is what is doing all the suspension work.

FUGGEN SCARY IF YOU ASK ME

Bugger thinking about any of this stuff anymore Strika, it hurts my head too much new_blowingup.gif

WRONG Your suspension is working at its hardest when you are cranked over. think about lateral loads etc etc!!! Why does suspension bottom out on a high banked turn if its not working when you have it cranked over???

Some of the comments in here scare the crap out of me!!!!!!!

Well if it's scaring you too much Neil, maybe you shouldn't come in here? I know that I shy away from stuff that scares me!

just a suggestion, but have you spoken to anyone about your fears? Maybe there is some pshycological reason for you being scared? If it were me with these fears, I'd certainly be trying to see someone about it mate! No point going through life being scared by other peoples comments on a web forum you'll do yourself an injury or something! Good luck with it though!

At least it wasn't big on Bravado and short on self esteem. Which is what your derogatory remarks appear to be!!!

In reality though, is it really neccesarry to attempt to belittle someone for their lack of technical expertise? And would it not be, if you truly are as knowledgeable as you would like to make it appear, beneficial to share some of your brilliance with those less fortunate than you, rather than sling shit at them?

And if you are able, perhaps you could share with me when I have been big on crap and short on content??? Some examples please, just so I can modify my behaviour to suit you!

look...Im pretty sure the suspension works while cranked....but that is no reason to dump shit on people by telling them their posts are scary, just tell em theve been misguided and why.

I come on here to learn as much as play, and I dont believe everything I read, but I dont slag off people.

As Mum said, If youv'e got nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all, unless it's about fugged bike shops ripping people off....and honda's.

I pretty much figured you were just a big mouth and couldn't back it up, otherwise you would have been able to reel off a string of things I have said in here which are big on crap as you put it!

And if you truly do have better things to do with your time (very obviously I don't...have you seen my post count lately   ) bugger off and do them, I for one ain't gunna even attempt to stop you!

Either way I don't care much! You just leave our Frogz alone. He rides a Duck you know!!! And not just any old duck either I might add, but a Darmah!!!!!!! So he's alright, and entitled to a mistake. Or maybe even to take the piss!!! But being nasty ain't nice! So play nice or I'll dob ya in to the school nurse....and you know what she does!!!!!

Strika I dont really give a F#$@k what you think, I see something I dont agree with I call it as I see it, dont like it tough As you, I am intitled to an opinion agree with it or not. Not really much to do with self esteem at all.

The post count says it all really!!

Geez, what an over-reaction to poor old Froggy not explaining himself very well. You're smart enough to figure out what he was trying to say Neil, and you know that the tyres and frame play a significant part in full lean situations for exactly the reason you state the suspension itself is working so hard.

without getting inot arguements,

i think suspension does work in corners, but not like it does when going straight.

when your leanin over and hit a bump, your suspension doesnt move sideways, your bike does.

but of course since the bike is on an angle it feels different.

i can understand both sides...

get a small model bike, (everyone has one) lean it over, ont he desk and ride it over some bumpy things.
if you hit a ripple/ bump int he road, your suspension doesnt soak much of it up, your tyres do.

think about it.

your suspension cant move sideways...

anyway, back on topic

Dunny q's are shit!!!!

i read it on some website, and i believe it!

on my bike i have a fork brace to stop my suspension moving sideways , and my new swingarm is made from a solid rubber block to allow for the laterel flexion !
and my new tyres are 200 series to absorb some of the bumps on Q.R.

you guys take yourselves way to seriously !

and neil you should know that you cannot win an arguement with an idiot, you just make yourself look silly.

love & kisses
