Allan - I'll type this s-l-o-w-ly so you understand it - the reference to aircraft kero was *A FUCKING JOKE* . The wink at the end of the original post on Kawiriders would indicate this to most people with an IQ larger than their shoe size. As your IQ appears to be better than the average MENSA member, why then did you choose diesel mechanics as a profession ??

However, you seem to have attached your entire vindicative diatribe in every post to this apparent *error* made over 6 months ago on another forum ... get Over It you fucking imbecile. it was no error, it was a joke that only *you* did not get.

Allan's problem is this - anyone who disagrees with him, and offers a different opinion, is *having a go* at him.....or *personally attacking* him . He begged the mods at Kawiriders to ban a number of members who, like me, offered different views about what the word *tappet* means to mechanics other than himself. Begged and pleaded that we should all be *BANNED* for having the nerve, the unmitigated GALL, to disagree with the Greatest Living Mechanic Known To Mankind.......it was pathetic, childish and probably the most immature thing I have ever seen on any forum anywhere.

Allan - You need to grow up and act your age. Old men like you should be setting an example ( I know I always try to ! ), not carrying on like a spoilt brat because you didn't get your way. For someone with 30 posts on this forum, and maybe 40 on Kawiriders, you sure as hell piss off a lot of members with your abrasive, know-it-all manner. Congratulations, you are well on your way to pissing off more members here.

The internet is not for you mate - stick to reconditioning fuel pumps on Caterpillars eh ?? You really have no place on forums like this......where some degree of humility and humour are mandatory requirements. You possess neither. But your ongoing fuck-ups when talking about all things mechanical continue to give me much mirth......like this one !

What, you mean those 2-stroke Victas now have valves ??    More gold from the Master of Disaster !!! :kuda:

Keep up the great work with the grade 4 schoolyard taunts Al, this is one of the funniest threads I have seen for a long time......

;) - I'll do my best Rob.....

what dissapoints me greatly, is how much Allan has changed his tune since late last year.....

Here is a quote from Kawiriders......make of this what you will...... ;)

Allan J on Kawiriders on 26 November 2008 wrote:.....I'm surprised Brucey did not come to your aid here! He had a bit of a camshaft dilemma! Gos1 helped him with. I thought he would of been able to explain in clear laymans terms......

where's all the love gone Al ??

and its also worth remembering this gem, where you *do* show a previously absent level of humility !

Allan J on Kawiriders on 22 November 2008 wrote:.....Apologies

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

G'day AKR's,

I would just like to apologise to people I have upset on site. I am usually a pretty factual person but sometimes my facts are just wrong.......

Yes mate, yes - sometimes they are.

See, its not hard to admit you are wrong. In fact, you will get a much greater level of tolerance to your posts on this forum, by showing a greater degree of humility, and stop taking yourself so seriously eh ?? Lighten up a bit FFS...

One last thing - here is a quote from a pissed-off punter on *that* other forum, and one which, in part, led to the above apology..

I think the member here has hit the proverbial nail on the head.....

Pissed Off Punter from Kawiriders, describing Allan J with amazing accuracy, wrote:.....I've learned a great deal from all your posts on this forum.......

1. Singular in perspective
2. Concrete in thinking
3. Unable to process differing views
4. Grandiosity
5. Alienates others
6. Emphasises own correctness and others' error
7. Emphasises own (perceived) superior intelligence
8. Unable to focus on the problem at hand
9. Overly concerned with always being perceived as right.
10. Belittles opposing views at every opportunity
11. Strokes own ego (or at least stroking something)
12. Quick to point out (perceived) superior intelligence
13. Lack of insight into effect of own behaviour on others
14. Regressive behaviour when challenged

I normally get paid (handsomely) for my clinical assessments, but mate you can have this one for free....

and that assessment comes from a Psych Nurse with 20+ years in the business. I think he captures every element quite well.....

I don't live anywhere near Gympie. I have a bigger and stronger heart than you will ever dream of peaheart!!! Yeah thanks for that not many people could build a red as you call them that stayed together at over 8000 rpm for many years of service. Oh yeah unlike Canberra BEX is no longer available in any other state along with Vincents, porn, fireworks etc etc.....

Yeah pretty fond of the old red - What was she? Street car/speedway/rally/drag etc? What did you do (ie cam pistons, head, rockers etc)to get these kind of RPM's / reliability mate --- sounds pretty impressive for the venerable Holden 6 ...

My favourite was the HP IMO..

Sorry fellas,
I had to attend a Roberta Flack concert last night and it was excellent!!! Can not say the same about my companion for the event.

Seems you have all been busy but I am old and tired these 04:00 starts are killing me! I will leave it at that for tonight.

I will however take you insults on board and pay you back some time on Saturday 07/02/09 as I am busy attending to other problems that have arisen in the real world of late.

Oh yeah good work goose on the "fake quotes" you poor simple dead flange. How come you quote your age as 28 if you are so old??? Oh yeah let me clarify "dead flange".....flanges are useful! Unlike yourself!
