Hey Yoda, You do know im a 125kg bouncer, and Jedi powers dont work on me. hehehe.
Oh and i didnt get up to 303. Mine only goes to 299. I did hear something about takin a restricter off, but not sure how. Im guessing thats how Davezx9r`s mate got that reading? Only 11 more days to surgery. Only been a 6 month wait with a broken wrist, being held together by pins.

Me neither!! I've never watched StarWars..... I was a big Lois & Clarke fan though and I get the impression that calling yourself Yoda is like calling yourself Superman. that right?

MadKaw wrote:You'd have to say stock speedos are bit optimistic then wouldn't you..
I have my 9 geared down to reduce top speed by about 15 kph but it would pass a stock geared one on the E.C. straight (hey Dave) and top speed of a stocker is supposed to be about 275 - 280..
I'm just about at redline in 6 on the turn 1 entry...
oh yeah youre right, your bike passed me easily down the straight but then again, my fat bum does slow me down a fair bit, along with the mirrors and rest of the road gear...

i have only had my old 9 up to 265 at EC but i know i can give some bikes a run for their money..! it does have only 130hp... my 02 9r has 140 (before ram air) so i reckon i could top 280.. and maybe crack 1:47 without slicks...
sean - have absolutely no idea what my mate did to get his 10r up to that speed, thats before he puts on the power commander and akrapovic.. this is his 2nd 10r mind you, highsided the first one on cold tyres.. wouldnt tell me what the power output was on the first one either (as he had the same gear on that too)... he mentioned he had his suspension set up for the track and was looking for 1:42 at EC (hey madkaw

)

Well thats the fourth person Ive heard of ,including myself, that has high sided a zx10. Mine definetly has earnt my respect.
Mechanic told me that you need a power commander to get readings past 299. But im not in any hurry to get one. She fast enough for me.
Anyway guys and girls, Im gonna be offline for a while from Monday. I go in for the bone graft on Tuesday(due to high side the 10 6 months ago) and im moving house. So wont be back for week or so.
