X is each time I filled up from 21/6/06 to 12/5/07, Y is Economy in L/100km with error bars set at 1SD and a trend line. Bike is a 2005 ZX10R with around 31,800km on the clock, 17L tank and kicks onto reserve with around 3-4L left.

...is that enough detail?

 mate - He's like James Bond at the garage - out comes the pen and notebook, its almost like a religious ceremony..........

still, its a great record for other things as well...........a good compilation/history of journeys, good rides, etc - this makes it worth a lot more than just a record of fuel consumption.....

My 06 10 will do 160-200km before the fuel light comes on, from there you've got 6 litres left to find a servo with.

But since the odometer flashes a fuel warning you have no idea how long you've been travelling on reserve till you stop or press the mode button...240km before refuel is my record so far.
