Dan,
Just my opinion, but that exhaust looks shite.
And I dunno why you can't find a cheap exhaust?
My Akrapovic titanium headers, Akrapovic titanium pipe and Akrapovic titanium can only cost me $800. hehehehe
You just aren't looking hard enough mate!!

Dan
get IT
go and GET IT RIGHT now.....
why??
just about every other Titanium can is $900 plus....
you sure the price is for the Ti can.....?
and fyi, the Titanium can on a R1 will cost you......$2050 to replace....
and I think the Zx10r has one...but I am scared to ask...
Dan A Ti can is as Yoda said worth more than that.
If you do get Carbon instead be carefull as I read a writeup on CF cans
and it seems that if it's a cheap/thin CF used it will discolour fade and show its age .
mario
I wanted a Ti arrow can but over 1k put it out of the ball park

One of my mates on a gixxer 750 has an aka and it sounds better than any yoshi i've heard on a gixxer. But its true most suzuki's have yoshi's and especially the twin yoshi's on the tillers.
still my aka on the 7r sounds nicer than any of them. Well maybe not the twin on the tiller.

Mario Suggested I submit an enquiry with findapart, and see what comes back... within a couple of hours i got an email offering me this can..
It's round, but for the price it might be worth checking out, does anyone know if Kerker are any good????
Kerker carbon fibre can only $250
Kind Regards,

Kerker????
out of the yew Ess of Hay...from memory.....
used by a LOT of old time racing Kwakas...Z1's Z900 etc etc
not a bad can....

I've seen a few KERKERs around. Quality looks pretty good and they sound pretty strong too.

Also cool is the fact that not many people have 'em. It'll make your 6 different to the umteen thousand out there. A good thing I reckon.

Kerker are also known as Supertrapp. Many, many moons ago, they were competitors, but joined forces at some stage.
You'll quite often see their cans on Harleys, but don't let that put you off, because they also make cans for dirt bikes and road bikes. My brother had a Kerker on his KLX650, and f&%k did it sound nice!!!
For more info on their road bike line:

I'd check it out first, and make sure that the carbon has faded with age and ensure that it is for your bike. Other than that, if all looks good, grab it.
