You won't once you learn to ride!!! I remember thinking that Dunlop K701's were the best tyres ever. Then I rode on those fandangle new Macadams!! They were brilliant! then... i learnt how to ride...!! :) :)

LOL...i remember thinkin' that K81's were the best tire ever....

as i had my first bike delivered with them i really had nothing to compare them to but i would use nothing else for 10 years

burn-outs, wheelies, draggin' the pipes & later with a bigger bike draggin' the engine...weren't that bad in the snow either...LOL

had a few of those Pirelli Dragons on (as i used to get them free with a few practice laps on 'em) just before i first tried the M1...the M1 felt better...

maybe a slightly stiffer carcass for the weight of my OEM suspended Hideous Barge...i don't know...

but the feedback & therefor confidence was there...even on very cold roads in the early Spring & late Fall

You will not do better with either an M5 or Z8. I choose the M5's as I wanted the 5 zone (softer on outside) rubber for more fun but expect ware them out sooner than if is choose Z8. According to the manufacturer, Z8 (3 zone) is designed for more touring than M5 and offers better wet capability but I'm a pussy in the wet so it's not a consideration for me!

Whatever you choose, both are good.

too late mate...I've got about 8000k on my my Z8 "C" rear & about 7000k on my M5 front

great combo rain or shine & so far it's looking like i could go a long long way without a tyre change
