Makes my 2:20 on the '89 GPX250 look pathetic now. I used to be proud of that effort

dont worry ty, im sure 2:20 is quick for a good rider on a gpx, cbr250 would have better brakes n more poke, so ur prolly not that far away.... well at least im thinking... hopefully i could cut something round a 2:20... i got nothing to guage myself on tho... lol

im proud of you ty :P

Why would you bother with a big bore kit on a 250.

Save your money. Keep your bike well maintained and flog it when you get a full license. Makes purchasing a 600/whatever a hell of a lot easier.

Brendan...be a man for once! You do this a bit in here! Throw something out on the forum, get criticised, then back peddle and try and turn it into a joke!My 15 year old grew out of that years ago!!! Just admit that you were being a twat. Admit that you really couldn't ride out of sight on a dark night and get on with the learning. Admit, that maybe it was a stupid and over ambitious statement to say you are "reaching the bike's limits"!!!! Which is what most of the responses are about, not boring a 250 out!

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

At least someone is ;)
Seriously it was tongue in cheek - the gpx couldn't have held a candle to a well-ridden cbr.

Just to put a spanner in the works, add fuel to the fire, whatever other cliche you can come up with...

I think Brendan would beat Frank at the track ;)

If he rides as fast as he posts then no one will catch him!

My money's on Frank. I have it on reliable information that his bike will be tied to the back of Watties so he may actually experience a decent speed.

mostly beacause of double points, and partly because while i was doing 60 down a straight where bacon always sits, i go passed by a zxr250 in a hurry. then nearly ran up the back of him as he hit the brakes for the bends...

he should have followed the rider trainer. he would learn much more. :?
