How many km / tank

I have a Factory Pro jet kit that I keep threatening to install. When I get the time I might actually do it. Interesting to see what I get if I manage to jet out the flat spot. You can bet my economy won't improve.

thrashin the gpx i get 13km/l, but taking it for freeway runs gets up to 17km/l
sposed to be a 20litre tank(340km till bone dry), but as i've not gotten the f*#*$ing low fuel light working, i am, as they say, very hessitant on trusting the bike to go over 200km per tank.

Wow - from memory Smitty claimed to be able to get 22km/l or something from his.
I'm suprised at the difference

300-320 on the ZZR600 but noticed a large decrease on that using OPticrap so shall avoid it in the future.

Hey Wazza. I fitted a new airfilter to my Spada yesterday- and the tank was nearly empty when I removed it- it was filled just before our ride the other day. It must be crap on fuel.....might go a bit better with a new filter in- bloody $50 though- is typical Honda quality too-a work of art. :P

350 k's out of just on 18 litres on a ZZR110 commuting to work. About 330 k's out of same amount of fuel doubling the missus up Mt. Glorious and on the big loop through Mt. Mee and back through Somerset Dam. And thats out of just under 150 hp. Why do 12's guzzle the fuel? Were they designed in Saudi Arabia?

The best I ever got out of my ZZR11 was 487km to a tank on a trip to Sydney at the limit- licence wasn't real healthy at the time and I did the whole trip legally.... 20km/L was great for a 1100- 1200 now sucks on fuel, and it has a smaller fuel tank than 1100.... Lucky to get 15-17km/L and it is only 112cc bigger.

on my ZXR250, i got to about 190k when i decided to fill up, anyway went into the servo and started pumping turns out i had used 7L to do 190k i couldn't believe it....
anway i usually only get about 220k on normal then about another 30k or so on res, so aout 250 to 15L

There freaky hey? 400km on the open road no worries and the 24L tank still has a couple in it. There should be a Power/fuel consumption chart, I reckon the old girls would be right up there 8)

Yep they are great on fuel for a performance bike. At 487km she was totally empty though-must have only had the fuel in the carbies- put over 24L in at Bendemeer.... :D

Highway riding the most I'd be able to get out of my ZX12R would be about 350kays but that's bone dry. I've keep an eye on my consumption at it averages around 5.6L/100km on highway and 5.8 to 6L/100km city riding. I have put a "fuel cat" in it which might be helping.

Cheers Glen

I was going to ask the question re: my ZX10R.. I'm getting roughly 200 from full to orange warning light.
Now I know I've got around 50kms to play with until I start pushing..

Cool Goanna, is that what you tell the coppers too ? I thought I was only doing 20km/h honest

Gos, thats pretty average. I can get 250k or 150k out of the tank depending.... last trip from Briz I ONLY got the 150's, awful lot of stops in 750K (I went the back windy way 8) )
ps How are them Quals going ? I put Battleax 012SS on and they seem to be pretty good, once they warm up bit.
Just because you CAN ride, doesn't mean you SHOULD

On my road 10 i get 180ks before the warning light and about 230ks to bone dry.

On my race 10 last weekend i got about 19 laps or 60ks, i did not see when the warning light came on but tank was nearly empty when i got back to the pits.
