I haven't mate, but it's gone from intermittent to permanent. Now fires on two cylinders only so I think a coil has totally gone kaput. Hoff came over last night and I fired it up but it sounded like a Ducati  I know I've turned into a wanker but geez does the bike have to tell me that.

No biggie, you'll sort it soon enough. It'd be bloody marvellous if bike mechanics these days were actual mechanics. Fuck me, when an untrained person can sort it WTF is wrong with them???? Sometimes it gobsmacks me with Techs. We have 300+ of them and half could organise a fuck in a brothel with a fist full of fifties. Sometimes I will go out to the workshop to see why they are all scratching their heads. I'll ask what the issue is and usually, they havn't even checked the simple things yet???? I'll often have to diagnose the problems on my car when it's in for a service. I remember going to the wreckers to get a sensor and dropping into my mechanic while my car was there. He asked what's this for? I replied "To fix the problem I bought it in for" .....He says.... "Oh..it's not that"..... Two hours later when I pick it up.... " yeah...it was actually that...how did you know?"  I suppose there is nothing more uncommon than common sense.

as long as you get the leads onto the front of the coils right - you can swap 'em over no wuckas mate :kuda:

From that exploded view - it looks like the leads can be removed from the coils ? Even easier......
