Scrub them in/ride not as aggressively until thy feel normal and it's fine, current tyres have little to no residue on them, it's mostly mental as that's what we've been brought up with. I can't remember how many times I've gone out and forgotten after 2 corners it's new tyres, I will admit that was with warmers which makes a difference. Where's Tack anyway, he'd have a few points to chip in.

Then I should have taken a Pic of the rims I picked up a few days ago after getting tyres fitted, there was lube everywhere, add to that putting the rear
wheel back on with chain lube, lube from spacers & axel potentially ending up on the tyre (doing it solo) I like the peace of mind that a quick going over with tyre buff will ensure no nasty little surprises, I would rather not take a hero approach... especially after ending up on my ass when new tyres were fitted by Mad Kuntz at the creek who just fitted them & handed them over as is..... once bitten twice shy
