Well that little rant didn't answer your question  I'll have a go at it for ya ;) correct me if i'm wrong peoples....
I think a choke is someone who does a lot of talking, but when it comes time to step up, they ain't what they made out they were ;) and do you need one... mmmmmm you probably already know enough of them to decide for yourself ;)

Ha ha good one.
Well smithy5, here is a challenge for u.
When they sort E/C out i will come up and do a ride day with u, i willing to put up a grand, u put up a grand, we will give the money to a third person, give me one session to have look at the track, and set the bike up, 2nd session we will go open slather, who wins, keeps the money, so are u ready to put up???? and if u cry foul about the 10 having to much power advantage, i will bring my bog stock, well allmost!!! 96 zx7 up, and challenge u on that, u up to it????
Or u can come to broady, do as many session as u need, than challenge me, same deal, put up a grand.
But it will have to be in the fast group.
And as its a track ive ridin a lot, i will give u the front straight head start, session are about 14 laps, so are u ready to put up???
Just a little tip, sunshine, sometimes in life its best not to slag off people u dont know and never met, as it can make u look the tool u prob are!!!!!!!!!
SO are u a choker, and can walk the walk. offers open.

MMMM u gone quiet mr Smithy5, Where are u?????????? take ur own advice about putting up, so come on, im sure u would like to make a grand for 15 mim work :) :) :) :) or cant u ride out of sight on a dark night?????[/quote]

I've got a grand.

Back on topic.

A choke is a butterfly or similar in
Your carbie that blocks off part of the air intake to "choke" it of air which makes it run very rich. Engines start better with a rich fuel mixture when cold. Once your ready to go, turn it off and Born green is your dads brother.

Oooooooo excellent Wattie, that's another $1,000 (oooppss grand). Any more takers? Gotta make it worthwhile. With my millions, I wouldn't even start my bike for a grand. let's get a few more involved and the winner takes all, cause Xmas is comming up and I could use a bit of pocket money......

While I like the idea of the "Challenge" it's probably irrellevent unless everyone rides the same bike. Even then, it will only tell you who gets on better with that particular bike. Perhaps it could be set up as a percentage against lap record for the class? that would be a fairer "challenge". ie; if the SBK (domestic) lap record was say a 34 around the island (Not sure what it is zachary, but that's close enough for an example), and you did a 43 roughly, you are 10% off lap record. So we can then measure who get's the lowest percentage against the lap record and they win.

For me, that works out great, as the lap record in 1996 was about a 42 and I can still (hopefully.... ) hang a 45 on the old 6.

Having said all that, it's academic until I can ride a bike again. Canned today's ride. Got 15 klms up the road and had to turn around. Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck!!! :x

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

Interesting.....
So are u proposing a little get together, whoever is involed, put there money in the kitty, so winner take all? or we have a top 3, and break the <prize money down>? and where would it take place? and if ur in, u have to do with one arm tied behind ur back.... we will make it ur left one :) :) just in interest of fair play :) :)
