l use the motul spray on gear..seems better than the castrol stuff imo.
Yeah the rear wheel gets dirty espec if u got green wheels!
l use this stuff by polyglaze to clean the wheels callled typically 'mag wheel cleaner' pretty original huh?!
its a spray type (looks like shaving cream when sprayed) that seems to move 90% of the shit off my wheels, tho a little scrubbing is needed for those stubborn bits of goo.
good for bugs off the fairing too...its gently on paint

Chain Wax, cant remember the name I'll edit it in later. Then Citrus based "goo remover" to get the small amount that flicks off onto the poilshed rim.

maxima chain wax, been using it for years .......although i've been finding it hard to get lately. a couple of weeks ago i was at SCM kogarah and they had it so i got 2 big cans

as long as you lube your chain with something its better than nothing...i like the wax cause it doesnt fling off as much and whatever does is sorta clear anyway

Also i know it has'nt been mention make sure your chain is hot n spin the wheel forward n apply in front at the bottom of the rear sprocket down into the sides of the chain where the "O" rings are.

most Mag wheel cleaners are acid based
they commonly use oxalic acid in various concentrations
and always warn you never to use it on a warm surface (like a wheel)
coz its eats away with the warmer the object...
people think its OK 'coz it comes from plants
but

Maxima is the gear i use Good to see others have arrived at the same conclusion as me. Its the best out there if you have coloured/polished rims by a mile.
Snapper good piccie mate but i apply it just in front of the rear cog (da big'n) too bloody hard to get access to the smaller drive cog, with the tip it up on the side stand method that i use.... must buy a race stand one day.
I used some mag wheel cleaner on the fzzr6 & it discoloured & stained the painted surfaces on the new disc rotors from aussie discs. So i tossed in in the boot of the Pontiac, wont use it on my scoots again.

Maxima chain wax here too, don't forget to clean(kero) ya chain because it will still flick off even with non-flick chain wax, use to get alot until i woke up and cleaned it, no flicking now.
As far as rims i used some degreaser on a rag mixed with water, did the job just fine.

i use silkolene chain lube, bit messy if u use 2 much but me m8 gets it 4 me 4 free, (in marikas voice) so me no complain

never tried it myself but a mate of mine swears by furniture polish for getting the gunk off your rims..
