BLOFLY, I wouldn't be to stressed abour 65 or 70. What I read in your orginal post is - "I sometimes find myself feeling a bit up tight when pushing the bike when it is leaning over"
I have had Pilot Sport and now Pilot Power, a few guys I know that use Power Pilot love them. Just ask Mario and Dan has already posted it here - i had a set of diablo's... i would recomend the piolt power over the diablo for rear grip, can't comment as i am still on the diablo front

I think that maybe you have a lack of total confidence in the front end of your bike. I did, and changed from Pilot Sport to Pilot Power and now have alot more confidence in the front (at the time I changed from Sport to Power I also had my front wheel straightened).

Do a search, using the link at the top of the page on the right, on Pilot Power. There is a thread that has a very similar discussion.

What everway you go good luck, once you find more confidence in the front end your riding experience will be more enjoyable.

Hi everybody I have just got my bike back with two new tyres. I opted for the Michelin Pilot Power tyres after reading all the technical mumbo jumbo and decided to stay with the original front tyre profile of "65". The first thing I noticed is that New Bike feeling! It was like riding my bike away from the dealers for the first time all over again! second thing I noticed was the weird feeling that brand new tyres have! I have never felt that before! it is hard to explain the weird sensation it is almost a sideways two wheel slide to a small way to put it! certainly scared me does any body here know what happens and why the bike feels so strange for the scrubbing in period? do both wheels actually slide a little bit?

If you do not know what you are doing, it would be better to stick with the manufacturers specifications.

It seems that some bike shops try to sell tyres that they have laying in the shop rather than tyres that should be on specific bikes. (unless you specifically asked for that profile???)
