Nup and I've never bothered doing anything different on any of my road or dirt bikes. I think so long as the clips on the right way they're fine.

But, each to their own. I don't care either way, it just means that you will be getting your hands dirty while I guide you through the process of peening a chain link! Make sure you ask for a chain with a peen link otherwise they will give you the standard split link in the box!!!!

Yep, same here. They only cause problems if fitted backwards.....endless chains are a pain in the coight
