So i know you guys love your crims, and seem to favour them over the 05/06 models, why is that and how did thay all get their nicknames?

I have my eye on an 06 :D

To clarify year models:

04/05 = Crim
06/07 = Gumby
08 on = Bug (i think)

crim looks ok and apparently is a beast to ride..... personally i dont like the front lights....
gumby always seems to get bagged out.... does look a bit too swoppy looking like a hyabusa....
bug i reckon will be a shit hot bike...... i could easily forgive it the ugly pipe and the weird indicator position.....

u couldnt go wrong with either i reckon.....

So apart from looks I hear a few people complaining about the handling of the gumby? Surely still a very good bike though?

I I have recently ridden a crim and really didnt find the handling all the different. Admittly the sus. wasnt set up for my weight but still not that different.

I have heard the bug is skinny like the gsxr but yet to confirm.

gumby is too fat, and doesn't have that sexy factor.

crim got it all power, sex appeal and nice lines.

bug wait to see it in the flesh.

It's worse in the flesh than in the photos. I'm become quite partial to the gumby recently, although I'd want a side-pipe conversion. I'd never buy one for the road, though, and can't justify one for the track.
