Gear problem, Neutral problem

Postby elixir » Mon Nov 14, 2005 11:02 am

Hi, My ZX2R is having a slight problem and i just wanted to get some advice on how to fix it.

The problem is that i can't seem to click my gear up into neutral, its hard as a rock and most of the time i have to bend over and use my hand to pull it up into neutral. When i ride, changing gears is fine but it seems that only when i stop and try to gear up into Neutral that it gets stuck.

anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks

Sounds like your clutch is not fully disengaging when the lever is pulled in and the resultant load on the gearbox when stationary makes it difficult to change.

Your clutch just needs adjusting, take some of the slack out of the cable and try her out.

Good luck :) :) :)
Just one more law and everyone will be safe.

If it hurts, you aren't doing it right.
